Well, the tickets are sold out until fall! I believe they said there would only be 30 people allowed in at a time too. I don't think I could stand all day just to get in. I do regret that I lived so close and didn't see it.

It was a spectacular view of the harbor and the city. But the spiral staircase you had to climb was a real killer. Very steep and narrow metal thing.

Believe it or not we actually love it here m'dear. We lived in Riverside for 20 years and the air out here is so much cleaner. We are surrounded by mountains in our little Hemet Valley and in the winter we see the snow-capped mountains..t'is beautiful. And the rainbows...spectacular! Yep..it's very nice. Now..do we like it as much as living in Boston? Well, except for shoveling snow and the summers when they spray for bugs and salting the icy roads in the winter to make the ice melt with the resultant rusting of cars, Boston is a nicer town! You enjoy living there for us and we'll enjoy California's pluses for you! Happy Saturday! :) (9hugs))

We lived in a very nice apartment complex in east Riverside called Canyon Crest Apartments. It was near the Canyon Crest Country Club and UCR. But as with many places there were pockets of less-nifty areas. Moreno Valley is further east, and there were many less-nifty sections there. What part of Boston do you call home my friend?
