Dust, bugs, flash reflections and such, not ghosts.

They are very small objects very close to the camera, caught by the flash. You probably won't see them because they're so small, like a small insect, but they're so close to the lens that when the flash hits them they appear as an unfocused bright orb.

There's no such thing as a ghost orb. Dust particles near the lens are commonly mistaken for orbs. A true orb is merely a collection of energy, of some sort; not indicative of a ghost. :)
