No, that's only 5 years. I know people who are 10 years apart and are doing very well together.

Nope, my dad is 8 years older then my mom so I don't see anything wrong with it.

My parents were similar, but 9 years apart, and were together for life. Worked out very well indeed.

hell no its fine.. Your only 5 years apart! your not in high school anymore, if you love someone.. be with them. your both young and your both adults.

While it's 'fine', i'd think very carefully. As a 21 year old guy, I'd find dating an all growed up 27 year old woman a little difficult and awkward - I still feel like a kid! But i'm immature for my age ;) Nobody can tell YOU what is acceptable in YOUR love life. Well, til you get married - but thats the end of your lovelife anyway right? ;D Consider the future income/freetime imbalances, [AKA a re you a student? Is she a professional, etc?]and if they dont seem too daunting, give it a shot. :)

The woman must be a cougar, or very domineering, since women emoitionally mature earlier then men I would say so, I mean if it's just sex it's O.K good student teacher age difference but long term I doubt it for the reasons stated above you may not see it now BUT in time .. ~Nemo~

no, if you try to go for someone closer to your age group your options go down. what is more some people are made more happy with older. it just depends on taste. same if you went for younger women.

I totally think it's fine. Right now I know a 35 year old woman who is dating an 18 year old 'boy' and a 23 year old man who is dating a 47 year old woman! It could be worse. If you are comfortable with it then I say go for it. 5 years isn't a huge age gap.

No I don't. My husband and I are nearly 5 years apart, though he's older than I. But I did meet him when I was just 14 and he was almost 19 and we've gotten along wonderfully for over 40 years :-) I'd think it would be hard to find two people that are more alike, have more common interests and values than the two of us, even with the age difference.
