For WHAT would I need to "forgive" Gawd? I think that I would wish to THANK Gawd, for the fact that I'm not a Christian. Gawd isn't one, either. It's one thing we have in common. +5

Which one? The sadistic O.T. one? The forgiving one that Jesus taught? Or the newly sadistic one that Paul espoused?

No I would kick his ass because the idiot caused more problems and pain, he is not a good god at all, he's evil. I'd ask him why did he make all those innocent people suffer just because the Pharaoh would not let Moses take his people? That's just one instance of his cruelty to humanity.
-
forgive him for what?
-
Yes, I forgive for myself, not for the other person.
-
Great question and my answer would be no. Not without a REALLY good explanation (and I have a teenage son - so I'm used to hearing some whoppers). +5

God is real and you have it backwards. It is you who needs Him to forgive you of unbelief in Him. Your greatest and most unforgivable sin is unbelief in Christ as Lord and Savior. God has not sinned against you, but in your rebellious unbelief, you sin against Him.
-
If he truely repented, sure. I mean he'd have to repent his vile and evil ways, but I believe in rehabilitation.
-
There is nothing for him to forgive
-
I guess if it turns out he is real I damn well better.

The Bible tells us a bit about the one true God of Abraham. There is nothing for which I need to forgive God. On the contrary, I frequently ask God to forgive me for my sins. With love in Christ.
-
No, I would toss him into the eternal pits of hell for what he has done to this world. He deserves to be there more than anybody.

for allowing all the suffering in the past and present, for allowing people to be killed in his name in the past and present, for allowing Hypocrites and Bigots to hide behind his name and religions.... not on your bloody life!

You didn't want to read my answer so I erased it since you wouldn't listen to me trying to help you see that your question was blasphemy. Proverbs 29:1 "A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy." I don't want that to happen to you. I was trying to help you find faith. Luke 9:5 "If people do not welcome you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave their town, as a testimony against them.” I thought maybe you were just trying to be funny and didn't understand how offensive the question is to God but obviously intended it to be offensive....so I "shake the dust off my feet" as I leave. James 1:5 "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." I couldn't leave without a final bit of advice, ask God for wisdom and you'll receive it.

if the God of the bible is real, the odds of him giving me a rational explanation are slim. I would just have to accept that a psychotic egomaniac was running things . I would probably not forgive him, but he would not care. i suppose if he turned over a new leaf and renounced doing things like torturing pweople forever, i could find it in my heart.
