  • Bearshare... */eyeroll* There are *many* other ways to get MP3 and WMA files; emule, emule-plus, Shareaza, MLDonkey (my fave), BitTorrent, and a few dozen others. I favor the eMule network for individual tracks as BitTorrent seems to favor *LARGE* files, like the entire anthology of music a particular group has ever recorded. I also favor multi-network clients for their flexibility. MLDonkey (with the Sancho GUI, since I run WinXP) can do both eMule and BitTorrent. Likewise, Shareaza is a multi-network client. Bearshare is a wannabe at best. It's like trying to drag race against a fully-modded Supra in your mother's mini-van. Bearshare is easy but that is as far as it's strong points go. It has no support, no files, and just sucks all around. The only use for it is for people that don;t know anything about anything about P2P.
