When you wrote your diary as a kid, did you ever write hoping that it would be found and published one day? Like all of your angst would not be for naught?

interestingly enough, i always wanted something like that to happen. when i was younger, i loved harriet the spy and also other books that were written in diary context, so they helped me start writing on my own. then eventually i figured out that at 10 years old, i didn't have anything controversial to write about which lead me to start making things up to make it all look so interesting. i loved the idea of someone finding it and being completely shocked that i was 100% different than how they knew me. looking back and reading everything i wrote, i seriously want to torch them all because it's pretty ridiculous!

I'm the opposite. Even to this day, when I write, I throw everything away thinking that someone will find it. Okay, so I'm wierd... so's my writings!
