Men. I know this is a huge generalization, but I have more men that I trust than women at the moment.

women in general have higher expectations of perfection (fussier)whereas guys don't get bothered by small things.I personally don't favor one gender but consider the person's overall character before gaining their trust

My gut instinct is to trust women more. When I think about it rationally I don't assume women to be more trustworthy, or men less - but that that is my natural inclination. I guess I have been let down more by men than women, perhaps.

In this day and age, I tend to trust men more than I do women. But it wasn't always this way. When I was a young child, I would have certainly said women. But those women were from an earlier generation. It could also have something to do with my being older. I've come to understand the complexities of men better just from being a man and looking at things I've done in my own life. Consequently, I'm better at recognizing when a man is full of shit than when I am when a woman is.

For some reason I'm more comfortable with females but there is a factor that wouldn't exist in a friendship with a male.

I trust women a LOT more than men. I think women, in general, are more open about things - at least to other women.
