old, Edward is a creep.

Sleek old vamp.

They both have MASSIVE problems when it comes to storyline, motivations, origins and various other things. There are however SOME new versions of vampire which are quite good despite their overuse and cliche image. For example, the anime "vampire knight" is extremelly well written and unique in style. It has a refreshing breath of plot, thought out characters(both human and vampire) and inventiveness which many other vampire stories lack.

If it weren't for the old vampires we wouldn't have the new vampires silly lol
-
Even vampires have to evolve. They are still the same ones. Remember vampires can live forever. A good example is the movie "Interview With A Vampire". I've watched vampire movies since the 1950's and they never get old.
-
Old vampires nobody comes even close to Christopher Lee's portrayal of Count Dracula:)+
-
old type when compared to that that twilight crap. True Blood vampires are kinda cool though.
-
I would pick Michael Jackson. He had the long hair and the pale skin, just like a vampire. He also loved to have his face covered and hated the sunlight . . .
-
Old vampires. No contest. Dracula, Nosferatu, Interview with the Vampire, etc. The closest thing that comes to that, these days, is Let the Right One In. I do love True Blood, but at least that isn't a vampire story written by a mormon.
-
Old school vampires, turn into wolves, bats, and fog. New vampires write crappy poetry. Old vampires can dominate peoples minds. New vampires are sparkly in the sun light. Old vampires have centuries worth of power and resources. New vampires are whiney douchebgas. Victory to the old school.
-
twilight types have greater sex appeal but classic vamps are cheesier
-
I'm not sticking my teeth into that question!
-
Interview with a vampire. So in between. But there was those Bella Lugosi eyes
-
b/w.....1970's frank langella dracula (omg!)
-
Anne Rice's version of vampire's definitely beat out Stephanie Meyer's vampires. No contest.
-
I'll go with the new ones because you can have wild sex with them and still be human.
