I would give it a shot.

Depends on the problem and the doctor. My friend uses it for asthma and it really works. He still has it, but it realy helps and dont hurt like those medicines. It's not for everything, but it's not psuedoscience either. Many in the industry hate it because they prefer to sell you medicine & make more profit. Imagine they actually wanted to help you. Profit prevents a lot of people from being helped.

Alarmed. I would probably insist on doing research first, depending on what the treatment is for. I have severe doubts about alternative medicine. There is a LOT of quackery involved. I know that some of the stuff works but I don't want to have any suffering because of stuff that doesn't.

I have had it done before with good results,so I would do it again. Some countries that have universal health care cover all naturopathic medicine and healing. One specific country is New Zealand.

It would depend on what kind of problem I had and if the procedure was recommended by my own personal doc. I have heard some good things about acupuncture, but they were related to a certain type of problem. For example, I hardly think acupuncture would be effective in cancer or a cardiovascular problem, or any type of infection.

Depends on what it was. If i needed a Liver transplant, i would be very suspect. If i was being treated for something non-life threatening, I would be open. I have had acupuncture before.

I'd feel WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!

I'm pretty open, No problem!

If there's good evidence for effectiveness, go for it. +5 Keithold

Id think, yah, they have finally seen the light ! :) But agree, if one needed an operation , then acupuncture wouldnt be the first choice of option.......
