No. I tell them i'm self employed. +5

No, because if I'm ever accused of something, I'd want someone like me on my jury. I'd want someone who is going to here both sides and do their best to make a good decision.

I've tried everything, but get this; they always say "NO" no matter what excuse I have given, including no transportation, have to work, dying of whatever. Then after saying no that is not a good excuse, they then turn around and tell me I'm not needed over the phone. They make you call in to see if you are needed, and all 6 times, I was not. I imagine the next chain of events would be to make me schlepp all the way downtown and then by process of elimination dump me. So, I don't sweat it. I am just going to have the good attitude from now on and say it is my civic duty.
