I don't know the N60, but in general I would set your ISO to 100 and your aperture to f/16 or f/11. Use a tripod if you can, and use the bulb shutter setting. Open the lens after you hear the firework take off and hold it until after it is spent. Use manual focus, and focus at infinity.

Well some digital cameras have a setting for fireworks but if not, i would either use a very low ISO or a very high one like 1600. The use a tripod and no flash. I would use the manual shoot because you do not know how long the firework will be up. Or you can take many photos in one time. Hold down the shutter button and let 5 shots take from when it goes up until it is over. Also for the focus i would test on some other fireworks first that night.
