It would be like the relationship down the street.Jake and Jane have been having problems for years.One says they have too many goats,and the other too many cats.The town is in an uproar and there is much concern and dismay.We are calling a town meeting to see if they will be excommunicated,or burned them at the stake.We are low on firewood though,so the second choice is unlikely.

how is at any different that any other divorce in america just because it is publicised? Both parties agreed not to try and make it work therefore both are at fault.

Both, her for selling her marriage and her children to TLC, and him for not telling her no way. If you listen to them talk, the children destroyed their marriage, both say their priority is the children, stupid jerks! Children are a product of the marriage, not the essense of it. The best value a child has is to grow up and become important, you don't start out that way simply because you are a child. Their priority should have been their marriage. KIDS COME LAST.

I was under the impression that the divorce story was to improve ratings. The whole 'tune in next season to see if they're still married!' kind of thing.
