Its a necessary risk. Our people's lives come before that of the enemy and potential enemy; if they didnt want to be targets maybe they would stop letting the taliban use those kinds of events to cover their activities.

The problem is that this can increase terrorist ("resistance fighter") recruitment which in turn can increase not decrease the threat to U.S. lives. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - At the core of the problem is bad publicity due to the nature of the target (a funeral) and the means of killing (an unmanned drone).
