I jot down the things that make me happy as well as the things that make me get upset. With the latter negative things, just writing about them is like a form of anger management as I always discover positive ways of dealing with averse situations.

Triggers. I try to find the cause/effect correlation between events and their effects like drinking too much soda leading consistently to a headache, or dealing with certain directors/coaches consistently leading to depression/anger.

I usually fill up journals pretty quick because I carry them with me, and write everything down that pops up in my mind. Which I can't seem to slow down...unless I'm drunk

Thinks I did that day, people I saw or talked with...stuff that goes on in the family....sometimes my fantasies........just anything!!
