Have you ever written down your entire family tree?

Wow! The ENTIRE family tree? That would take a long time! Right- There was Bob the single celled organism, then a lot of my acient family in primordial sludge, a few billion or so anphibians, a few more land mammals, then a whole load of primative primates, then some apes (all called H. Sapien, total lack of imagination there) and there are about 6.5 billion close relatives around today, as well as 10's of billions of distant relations around too. Hey, all of you guys are on my family tree too! Isn't that nice? One big happy family!

No, but i know my brother has tried, and believe me it isn't that easy a thing to do!

Actually, I haven't but I have asked who certain people were. My oldest sister is in the process of putting things together.

I can only go back to Great Great Grandfather on my Mothers side that is in the 1850s i believe. I know very little about my Fathers family

No my family tree is too big for me to grasp...so big ifact that I din't realise I was going out with one of my relatives!

My family is very, very large. I have 50 first cousins. I can barely remember their names much less their children or my aunts and uncles moms and dads.

Yes but as it gets bigger I find it gets smaller because of constant pruning :o)

I entered all the info on a computer about 5 years back then a nasty virus attacked and all the data was wiped out.

Yes, very confusing considering nobody still alive in my family was alive before 1950. And the records that my great-grandparents kept weren't too clear.

i wouldn't even attempt it - my mother's a scouser from a family of 9 kids and my dad's a cockney from a family of 6 kids - imagine the size of the piece of paper

I have and some are back to 1200. To those who think it's too big. Do just your own family and parents. Start with your children and work back. It can be intersting to find where your ancestors were from. There are a lot of web sites you can find information. A free one is Familysearch.org

I haven't but my gramma did once. I was amazed to find that I am related to Mary Queen of Scots.

I was required to track my family tree as far back as I could for a college class... Could only get as far back as my Grandparents... Poor immigrants, no records...
