  • I'm in Tampa, FL, and we just started getting over a 4 year drought with an 8 day thunderstorm, followed by a month of drought, followed by a thunder cell so powerful it ripped my steel lanai to pieces!
  • No, just hot & humid. heat index 100+
  • sort of, with all this rain and warm, humid weather.
  • yeah, lots of thunderstorms.
  • Yep, lots of rain, cool temps and only a few sunny days this month.
  • Kind of. We were over 6 inches of rain less than an average year and lately we have had quite a bit of rain and cool weather when it usually is hotter.
  • Rain, rain and more rain; oh yeah, and lot's of humidity.
  • Well, we've had some very severe thunderstorms the past few days. We got hit with one this very afternoon, that took out a large tree in my front yard. A car wash was completely destroyed-roof ripped off, sides of it knocked down and that took out a few cars with it. Many folks w/out power right now. Tree branches and limbs scattered all over town. My local weather/news website is www.wqad.com where you can see video and photos of the storm damage there.
  • Not wacky, just bad weather. We still haven't had summer weather. We've been cold and rainy. But we did have some really hot days in April
  • Yes, it had been around 94 degrees and really dry, now it's been raining, sprinkling, and down in the 70's. That's great! I love it.
  • Wacky is not the word I would use. We have been in the 100 degree range for about 3 weeks. (we should be in the low to mid 90's at this time of year) About a week ago we were forcast to have clear skies with a 10% chance of rain. We got tornados and thunderstorms with hail instead. It has not been a fun week.
