I think toes are naturally pretty ugly, especially if you don't keep them well groomed. Painted is a nice touch, kinda like perfuming the pig.

I think that toes can pull off a lot more colours than nails can. I'm probably going barefoot to my wedding, and I figure I'll paint my toenails to match my dress -- not sure about painting my fingernails though.

I think it depends on how their feet are. I definitely like toes painted but if their feet or shape of their toes aren't really attractive, I think they should stick with not so noticeable colors (neutrals and lights). If they are pretty, then paint them red or anything that makes them stand out. I tend to think the shape/condition of the feet is what makes them sexy...not so much the nail polish.
