i think its a hot cooking surface, you could prob make a bunch of pancakes on one... mmm i just thought of the McGriddles from mcdonalds.... so good.

A griddle as apposed to a grille is a large flat piece of steel with a small gutter on the front and a splash border on the sides and back.It is used to fry foods.I currently do not have one.

First thought was John Denver's "cakes on the griddle". No we dont have one - not an indoor one anyway. Come to think of it I dont have one outside either, 'cos I dont currently have a BBQ :(

A griddle is a heavy flat cooking surface, could be a pan, a big flat surface that sits over two burners, or even a whole cooktop on a stove. I've got two griddles, one large sheet that fits over two burners and one that is huge sheet for campfires outside.

We have one. It's very heavy. Ours is big enough to fit over two burners.
