  • You might want to cancel your other cards. Don't let credit card debt do you in. When I can apply for a credit card, I'm sticking with a Visa, and that's it probably.
  • It wouldn't hurt (as long as you're accepted and if not, it will only affect your FICO score for one year and show up on your credit report for two years), but I would advise that you pay your bill in full every month rather than having to pay ANY interest.
  • Get the new card, move the balances over to the new card. DON'T cancel the oldest card. cancel the newest. The oldest is feeding your credit score more than the others due to the history. Time is a good thing here. Use them wisely, grasshopper.
  • Is it true that when applying for a house loan banks are looking for 3 credit lines? My impression was that it is bad to open too many credit cards.
  • Why not get rid of all your credit cards and use only a debit card? Think of the money in interest you will be saving. Credit cards will land you in bankruptcy. If you don't have the money, you don't have the item. Its called saving your money for the item. You will appreciate it much more.
  • I'd try for a bank loan or a line of credit instead of another credit card. Credit card companies are pretty much guaranteed to up the interest rate after a year and they're not as forgiving as the bank would be.
  • thats good but dont spend it all in one place at the same time becouse that bill will add up to more then what you have on your cards think about it more and if you can afford it go for it. and yes there good for on hand cash.and watch your spending couse its hard to get out of debt.
  • Depends - if you want the credit card companies to slowly syphon the life out of your bank balance, go ahead. Low APR is introductory scam only - make one mistake (late payment and they go out of their way to help you do that) and it becomes 22%. Remember banks are never your friends - they are vampires that will drain you dry given the chance.
