  • That would depend on what extra features you wanted built into it. All routers are basically the same and it's the extras that make the difference in making it "the best." Getting a router that handles 801.11n would keep you ahead of the pack, but not all ISPs support it yet. Getting one that has a built in printer support, firewall, management software/interface makes it very desirable, but also adds to the overall price.

  • I have a linksys router and never had any problems with it. I have a pc downstairs, and I use the router to connect my other computer that is upstairs. I am not sure if it is the best one out there, but I think it is a very good product.   • All Routers do the same job, its just that some people prefer Netgear or SpeedTouch, they are all the same, but some of them do different speeds etc.
  • Try this kind of router I'm using this kind of router right now the SONICPOINT G 80211B/G WIRELESS ACCESS POINT. I bought that in an online store they have a lot of high quality networking devices on their site.The name of the online store was LA Computer Center.
