Married men: if a DNA test showed that your 2 month old was not your biological child, what would you do?

Assess a dollar amount for monies spent since the sexual act that purportedly conceived the child, triple it, and gun for that in the divorce settlement. OR Sue for more.

I am not a married man but what happened before that - you must have had suspicions to go for a DNA test in the first place. In going for the test you must have thought about the possible outcomes and what your reactions might be. If you feel a bond with the child, can honestly bring it up as your own and can forgive your wife for her adultery, you have a chance of having a happy family. If any of those things seem insurmountable to you, I would advise that you get out of there as quickly as possible and find someone who can be faithful to you.

Well.... since Mrs. Old Guy had her tubes tied ten years back, I guess I'd be in the clear...not having to explain why that woman and child are living in the garage.

I would get a 2nd tet ; for verification .... IF it also showed I was NOT the father ; I would immediately file for DIVORCE ....

I'm a woman, but if I was a man and that happened; it would be time for a divorce and to move on.

If the child was 2 months old I'd simply divorce her and wash my hands of the whole thing. But if the child were older, and I had been lovingly raising it for years, I don't know what I'd do. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I found out that my 4 year old son is not my biological child. I have a love for him that I can't simply turn off.

I would start collecting DNA samples from the mailman, the milkman, and the poolguy who is over here a lot.

I'd end the relationship. The child's father should be there to raise him.

First question her since a substantial amount of relationships end without thorough understanding, and I find out if she cheated, I'd pack and leave.
