It means a gun was placed right against it's target.

Point blank rage is how far a bullet travels before it starts to drop. So not very far. It is usually longer with larger caliber guns with a higher muzzle velocity-it will be a lot longer in a 120mm tank cannon than a .22 rifle.
-
The maximum distance to a target that can be reached without adjusting for elevation.

Past "IN YO FACE" onto a dent in the formentioned.

a bullet flies with an arched trajectory. at the muzzle, the bullet is below the sights. as it goes down range it rises to the the line of sight (first zero). Then it rises above the line of sight until it reaches apogee and begins its descent. Farther down range it again crosses the line of the sights (second zero). Then farther down range it falls more and more below the sights. Point blank range depends on the size of the target. For example a deer has a 6 inch vital zone. So if you were to aim your sights at the center of the target, the bullet could rise 3 inches or fall 3 inches and still be in the zone. For a 165 grain .308 that range is about 297 yards. Just aim for the center and shoot. No hold over. Of course, for handguns it is much shorter since the velocity is slower.
