I would say hatefully remembered, because history shows that people who are hatefully remembered always leave behind followers or admirers. But for the sake of goodness and virtue, I would much rather prefer to be forgotten :)

I would personally prefer to be ignored and forgotten, it's too much work to be popular I have found :-) Besides, how will you know how many people are at your funeral anyway!!??
