Why do people post questions without telling us what State/Country they live in? I mean, some of the questions require a very different answer depending on the location of the poster.

Because the vast majority of questions don't require one, meaning, they're answerable by everyone. For most, that require a location, it's assumed to be the US, since AB is a US website.

Many people are still unaware that the internet is accessible to everyone all over the world who has access to a computer.
