Always, always, ALWAYS.....believe that it is a swindle!!! Do NOT send personal information. Do NOT belive a word of it. DO NOT RESPOND IN ANY WAY. Sometimes all they are looking for is someone to open the email and set off a virus. Mostly, they are looking for a live victime to swindle.

If he didn't enter a lottery or anything It's more than likely a scam. Especially since it's coming from a foreign country and there is no way to check it. Take Phillis advice. Send them nothing nor respond. If you even respond they will know the email address is valid and continue sending you crap. Chances are I bet if you tracked that down and followed it you would find it was coming from Nigeria--scam country
