No the nutritional value is different and so is what they are made of. Use puppie formula. You can get it at most stores.

Definitely not. You need a puppy milk replacement formula. You can get it at most vet clinics and pet stores.

No, puppies need a very different milk formula. You can find it at good pet stores or your vet will have some.

NO! If your pups don't have a mother to nurse off of then go and buy some puppy milk replacer. Infant formula is not suitable for puppies as it doesn't have the nutrients and vitamins they need to survive.

It's better to get the puppy formula for them if you need to use a milk replacement. Most pet stores sell it and even some Wal-Marts sell it. The one I use is called "Just Born" and I keep some on hand just in case.

Yes you can in an emergancy ,, I have been raising puppies for 20 years and have used human infant formula. I would not use it for more then a few feedings because it is to high in iron and to low in fat . You can make a good quality formula your self with just a quick trip to the grocery store , check out this page with information on making your own puppy formula .

My personal experiance is that my puppies do far better on the home made formula then store bought puppy formula , probably due to the fact that there is fresh yogert and fresh eggs in the home made formula and not over processed like the store bought puppy formula .

Here's a great milk replacer recipe for puppies. You can feed it to Mom also and it will increase her milk production. It's also great for weaning. I add it to some ground dog food and let it soak so that it's mushy.

    8oz of water
8oz of plain or vanilla yogurt with live cultures
1 can of evaporated milk (about 12oz)
2 egg yolks (not the whites, puppies can't digest this.)

Blend it for a few seconds or until it's lump free and keep refrigerated. It stays good in the refrigerator for a week or so.

No, you must use Milk replacement that is formulated for puppies. Infant formula doesn't provide proper nutrition for growing puppies.

If you had nothing else, and for a once off, maybe, but not regularly. Human baby formula is made to resemble human milk, which is quite different from dog milk. There are commercial animal formulas available.

If you go to walmart, they have formula for puppies for like 5 dollars. It's actually alot. But I gave my 4 week old abandoned kiten infacnt formula for a week before he ate cat food and he is fine. I wouldn't advise soy based infant formula tho. But... puppy formula is cheaper than infant formula.
