No. I will pay my dues, and take my change. I will also pick up a small coin off the floor.
-
I careless if people are behind. A penny is a penny!
-
Nope. If it's due to me, I want it. If the people behind me have a problem with that, they can let the cashier keep THEIR change.
-
Personally no I don't. It's my penny and pennies make pounds. According to my mother anyway!
-
I might stand aside to let the rest of the people in the line finish their business with the cashier, but I will not leave without getting my penny. To me a penny is as valuable as a bank note of any denomination.
-
No I do not. Their pricing should be such that there is no possibility of that happening.
-
+5. No, not at all. I am a coin collector and even though I am 56 it is still a thrill to get that penny and look for the date on it.
-
I just tell them to dump it in the penny tray. I end up getting it back anyway.
-
Nope, todays economy sucks!
-
Not at all.
-
no. Enough pennies buys a burger on the $ menu or a lot more buys baby food, milk, etc. It all adds up
-
yes.
-
I figure my time's worth more than one cent, so I'd just leave. The cashier can throw it in the change jar for someone who needs a penny
-
I just tell them to put the penny in the little "give a penny/take a penny" cup.
-
no, but i do get annoyed sometimes waiting
-
I just say, "all set", and walk away. They need the penny more than I. Just as wing.walker stated, my time is worth more than the damn penny! Sweet question though; and further, I push to abolish the penny entirely. :)
-
No, it's my money and I want it, to hell with the other people, they can wait there turn.
-
Not all pennies are worth one cent. We should all pay more attention to coins - stamping errors can inflate to thousands of times over face value. Just a thought.
-
Nope! Money is money!
-
Nope. I had that problem at a McDonalds drive through one day. I told the idiot at the window that she can wipe that stupid smirk off her face and that I wasn't moving until I got my penny change.
-
I am some kind of a nut and like to have the exact change but if it is a long line like you say~~ just give it to them~~life is too short to be a dick
-
Nope. Many cashiers will stand and wait while you search for that extra penny to pay with.
-
I always tell the cashier to keep the penny even if there isn't anybody in line besides me.
-
No because most cashiers want to get rid of the change because they say the drawer wont balance at the end of the day if they dont hand out the proper change.
-
Pennies go in the local penny tray. They should be done in becausethey cost more to make than they are worth.
-
no way. look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves!!!!!
