if i answer it i think its worth the points so i give it to them. and if someone takes the time to answer mine i give them the points whether i agree or not UNLESS theyre being an ass on purpose then i take away

I rate questions and answers :) I have found, a lot of people in my friends list have opinions i agree with, and opinions I dont really agree with. I rate it on how, helpful it is. Not if i agree with it or not. And usually, 99% of the time, i uprate. Someone has to be a special kind of stupid for me to downrate it ;)

Well I can't really rate the person themselves although it would appear so. We see this because the people we pick to be friends but then we must also understand that we mostly pick our friends because we normally like how they think and what they post. I also up-rate many who are not on my friends list because of course I like their post.

I rate questions and answers. I very often do not notice who the posting is made by unless I am working off my friends list.

I rate the stuff, which I consider to be an extension of the person associated with it.

I rate the stuff which is said. I've up rated people I don't like on here, and avoided to do the same to those I like at times. It's still opinion driven mostly though, based on whether or not I like their answers.
