  • As a whole? I don't know. The ones I've met are smelly and rude.
  • Sure, why wouldn't I?
  • I love French people. It's the darn French Canadians that get on my nerves.
  • Yes they are fine in my book, they are just french is all, I don't think they like me too much though.
  • How can you generalise people just because of their nationality? There are french people I like, there are french people I dislike. The majority of french people I am indifferent to because I do not know them. I feel you cannot judge a person purely on their nationality. It's like saying "All Americans are fat" or "All British people are posh" it is simply not fair to make such a crude assumption.
  • Sure. They can be rude, brash and arrogant at times, but besides that they can be rather pleasant.
  • Absolutely not, bunch of usless socialists. Exceptions to the rule: Ludivine Sagnier, and Eva Green
  • Bien sur que oui! Viva La France! Je vous souviens.
  • Usually. But I also like other people.
  • A lot of Americans seem to forget it was the French who helped us win the Revolutionary War.Without them the United States might not exsist.
  • i dont mind them, i havent really ever met anyone french. I'm sure they would be cool.
  • Like any broad grouping of people, I like some, don't care for others, and don't know the rest.
  • I like most people, but of course I like the French as some of my friends and relatives are French as I'm Belgian myself.
  • I've only met a couple, and they were very likable.
  • Why does France get all their role playing games before Canada? My own country can kiss my ass. XD This isn't fair lol, but otherwise I like them, no more and no less than any other people anyways. People are people, despite the distinctive traits which may differentiate them from one another.
  • I don't really know any French people, but from what I can tell, they're just fine. They have a weakness to wolves apparently, but at least they're better than Moldovans.
  • If you speak their language the French are as friendly, polite and helpful as anywhere in the world. I never had any problems with the French. I would even say that normal French people are much less biased as for example the British. A little bit different seems to me the upper class which is sometimes rather chauvinistic and arrogant. But in clear difference to the British upper class the French stay polite and friendly and they have not such a hurting arrogance as the British use to have. And as the French are unable to speak or learn foreign languages just like the British, they do not know much of the rest of the world. But normal people in France I always met as very friendly and very warmhearted people. If British and French meet each other I just think that two arrogances are meeting and that is the problem.
  • First, I'm French. I will try to explain why a large part of the french population hate american people. You American people must remember who help you during your Independance War. In 1940 we surrounder that is a fact. But in 1939 who did not help his oldest ally to face facism? USA. During the Normandy battle 50000 civils died because of the american operations. Most part of the french teritory was re-conquered by the free-french force, not by the american (everything under Paris, included). It is the same thing about WWI, american soldiers landed at the very end. We lost 1 397 800 soldiers and you "just" (sorry to use that word) 116 708. And who are not courageous? You know what is the "mot de Cambronne"? and how the old guard of Napoleon was destroyed in Waterloo? And who are losing two wars in the same time? And Vietman, and Corea? That was not what we could call "des grandes victoires". Anyway all of that is childish. I still admire USA but clichés must be fight.
