I always got special compliments from my art teachers, and now I am a graphic design student at a premier design school. I got other compliments, but none were as consistent as the art ones, and by my sophomore year in high school, I figured out that communicating visually was my passion. So I guess it did have a big impact on me.

Well, I'm still in elementary school and just like you my art teacher tells me I have talent and I get A's... But I also like music very much... And my father is a musician and he compliments me that I have musical talent also... So I don't know how to continue... Art School or Music School.

Not in elementary school. It wasn't until high school that people found out I could play the piano. In college, I was complimented by my art teacher in a drawing class I took. The best compliment from him was that he asked for one of my drawings to keep in front of the class, but didn't ask anyone else. Yes! Then I felt I had possibilites.
