Where in Europe? There are various things you should/shouldn't do in the 50 odd countries which comprise the European continent!

I would suggest go to Britain because in Britain they speak English and then you won't have any problems with the language. The rest of Europe is not interesting so that you can skip it. If you have seen Britain it's enough what you need to see from Europe.

Well, Europe is a HUGE place - i think you need to consider which countries you want to visit, and what you want to see there. What you should and should not do might vary from country to country. What to bring? - where are you staying? The temperatures will vary from north to south, but generally in summer it can be warm enough to wear summer clothes - but you might need at least one sweater in case it gets chilly in the evenings (depending on where you go, and what kind of temps you are used to). Can I suggest that you rephrase the question when you have an idea of what countries you intend to visit? That might make it easier for us europeans to offer specific advice.

One of the mistakes many foreigners make is not educating themselves on the culture before they visit. Before you leave, depending on what countries you go to... read up on some of their customs. The mores in Europe vs in the United States may be a culture shock. I would only take what you need at the bare minimum if you plan to do lots of shopping. The airlines are much more strict than the ones in America, so keep that in mind. Most of all, immerse yourself in the beauties of Europe and take lots of photographs. Enjoy! <(^^)>

If you only go to Britain you won't have much problems. The rest of the Europeans are weird and so better stay in Britain. I think the rest of Europe would be rather boring to every American because they have the same much better in the USA. A Disney-Park in the USA would be more interesting for an American than a visit to Europe and its uncultured and retarded people. You should not forget that Europeans apart from Britain live on a much lower level as you are used from the USA and so you will have an immense shock if you see the first time how primitive and uneducated Europeans do live.
