currently? Yes. Prime versus prime? Dwight may still get better so it remains to be seen. At this point Dwight is not as good as Shaq was at his best. Shaq was not quite as good defensively but was superior by an even wider margin offensively.

Not an answer to your question, but may give a laugh. My eyesight and mind have finally gone away. When your question first came up on screen, I thought it said 'Dwight Eisenhower' and couldn't figure out the comparison between him and Shaq. Reread the question and realized my blunder. (hey, my son keeps telling me the gray hairs are sucking out the brain cells, times like this I wonder) (lol)

when it comes to talent, Shaq has hardly any, hes just really freaking big and knows how to keep the ball away from someone and post up...so deffinetly Dwight

He is right now. When Shaq was in his prime he was a beast. I would go with Shaq in his prime.
