Yes I have, and yes I did enjoy it's ending. This movie established an entirely new Star Trek universe, literally. It opens new doors into character and plot development that didn't exist before. (Not really a spoiler here, for those of you who haven't seen the movie. You need to see it to understand this.)

I was very pleased with the movie as a whole, but I am a little disappointed that the timeline has been skewed. Especially the destruction of Vulcan. It played such an important role in the original series. Does this mean the entire Star Trek timeline is now altered? What about The Next Generation? Has that timeline been altered as well?
