Have you (older folk 50+) faced age discrimination in the workplace and in what ways? If unemployed, are you a victim of "over-qualification"? How do you address your years of experience in your resume or at an interview?

In the 90's it was a big issue for Downsizing (Rightsizing) laying off older workers or retiring them to make way for what were called younger more contempory trained people. In the past 5 to 10 years the work force had wanted all trained people. Now we are back to entry level people again. Can guess why,but should not say why. The world pension funds are starting to show signs of strain and administrators are wanting Old folk to keep on working.Now for quite another reason. All manipulative manouvers but Discrimination ? I think yes but I'm sure others will say NO !

I think it's disgusting how little thought is put into the future regarding independence/dependency. No only for one's self but also their children. No one seems to invest in growing their own food or self sufficient technology. This is a form of gambling if you ask me.
