Overrated...I watched Slumdog Millionaire the other day and i thought it sucked. I was yawning through half of it

I really enjoyed it. I managed to find it on the internet. Really good! Then I wanted to see it again so I rented it and it was crappy. Just curious to know why that was? Any ideas? Cuts???

I thought it was shocking, and a little implausible. I hope India isn't like it was portrayed in that film.

Must not be too overrated - I dont even know what it is. LoL.

It's a bit overrated. Although it's an enjoyable film, it doesn't draw you in on a second viewing because the suspense factor is gone. A lot of praise came from people who were titillated by the poverty. And everybody - including myself - was winded by the beautiful Latika in yellow.

It should have been one of those Indie movies it's a delight to discover. Not an over hyped blockbuster.

As an independent film it explored a new avenue. With all the advertising on it, you did not know what to expect until you actually saw it. I did not know there would be so much violence in it. It is very sad if this was how these people lived. I think it was not best picture material, but creative. I liked the music at the end.
