Why do some people on Facebook have to make all these "holy roller" kinds of comments about things that are between them and God. Do some people feel the need to appear all spiritual to others?

People have a tendency to voice their opinions to other people, even if others don't give a damn about what they think. Take TheAmazingAtheist on Youtube for example, and hear him ramble on about shit in his life that no one cares about.

For the same reason(s) they do here on AB, Fox, and on the street. Basically, it is their way of "proving" that they are superior because they are on the path of righteousness and if they can "save" you then that makes THEM a better person. Okay, I didn't say that the reason made sense....
