remove leaves from your gutters. remove dry plants and obstructions eg clutter . having a fire extinguisher handy is also a gd idea

There are county codes that have been set to protect people from wildfires, google them and I believe you will get some good advice.

It depends on what kinda house you have and where it is situated.

My Dad used to say FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE!......But it cost him his job at the Fire Service.
