the constitution....people will fight for it...but I certainly think it has been, and will continue to be worked on...there are more and more gun laws being made more often. until eventualy, ownership laws will be changed dramatically.

Because it's not the ones following the rules and doing things legally that we need to worry about.

constitutionally protected right for people to possess arms. they try as they can to restrict them and increase costs but they can't outright ban them. besides, it isn't the legally owned weapons that are the problem. it is the criminals that cause the problems. what we need is public hangings.

Because the people who obey gun control laws are not the problem.

I wonder that myself,and something must be done about it.Too many Americans have way to easy access to guns,when they do not really need them.In my whole life there has not been a single incident that I needed one.

because there is this misconceived conception that its only the chriminals who are doing all the mass shootings ( which is a load of clap trap ) and the good old standby of "its our rights under the constitution" dribble as this part of the constitution is out dated. More and more rules are being put into place everyday and maybe soon there will be an amendment to the " right to bear arms " section

SCOTUS (Supreme Court of The United States) has determined that the police do not have a duty to protect the individual. SCOTUS has also correctly read the constitution and expressed it clearly that the 2nd Ammendmant isn't, and can't be out of date. Because when you dial 911 it can take 45 mins or more before the police arrive to take the body count. Life or death happens within seconds and the bad guys won't wait for the police to arrive. Because crime has dropped drasticly where concealed carry is allowed. Because most of the high profile shootings have occured in "Gun Free Zones" where any shooter knows law abiding citizens can be victims.
