Cant black females also date other men than Black? Quite a few do where I live. In fact mixed couples of all races are very common here.

Because black women think that white women are taking all the good black men. Black women may as well step outside the box.

Not at all. But, I did have a few friends in the past who'd get very upset. I think it was because these men just weren't interested in them. I thought it was pointless to tell me how they felt since I dated outside my race and didn't care either way. I think if they viewed this with an open mind, and with the same option to date men of other races, then they wouldn't notice black men dating women of any race.

It's funny that these sort of questions generate more people either stating their reasons why they feel someone else does something or why they feel the subject should not feel that way that they do than it does actual answers from the group the question was directed at?

I live in a all black town. I don't date black guys, not because I am racist, but just because that's not the type of guy I am looking for. I had a lot of black girls miss out on my friendship in high school, because they though I was trying to take all the good black guys in school, but never took the time to learn that about me. I say to each his own, people need to get over it. maybe that's just what they like and it's there life. What if those same black girls liked white men? Should the black guys be made at white men for taking all the good black girls? man, there's more races than black and white, we need to get over each other... Sorry for the rant.

I'm a black woman and I don't care at all who black men date, I personally perfer white men myself and always have. I have black girlfriends that hate to see a black man with a white women. All my girlfriends are highly educated and successful and they really do have a hard time finding black men as an equal and most that are usually date white women. Hell i just tell them to be open minded and find someone else in another race, expecially since they all regularly are hit on by white men.
