Cats have scent glands on their faces, so they rub to leave scent and mark you as their own. It is a good thing!
-
It could be his way of showing affection towards you. My cat does that to me also, usually when she wants attention and wants to be affectionate.
-
He loves you. He's marking you as his property so the other animals know that you are his.

Your cat is marking it's scent on you and being affectionate and strengthening it's bonds with you and probably asking to be fed or let out or something. Cats are very good trainers of people, they perform a behaviour and if it gets results that are favourable, then they repeat the behaviour to achieve similar results. So once bbefore your cat did this and you responded in a good way for the cat and so you get this all the time.
-
yes i think its being affectionate too as my dog does this but i dont know if its the same.
-
Your cat is pissed because you locked it out of the bedroom at night and made it cry for 2 hours straight. I would trip you too.
-
Only calling it like i see it.. and you dont know class... look at your stupid answers to suggesting you would have my cat "trip me"... The pot calling the kettle.. get a life you reject.
-
he is telling you he loves you and that he wants to be affectionate to you so you will give him treats and play with him.
-
he's trying to cuddle and he could be trying to steer you toward his food dish.
-
he is hungry and wants your attention and is willing to do whatever to get it... even get stepped on!
-
He's wiping his scent on you. Marking his property so to speak. Letting other animals know your his.
