Family films are one thing that seems to be recession proof. Just an enjoyable, carefree time with the family to forget about the outside worries.
I think they will remain popular while PG-13 and up movies decline. It's just a theory, who knows? But I do believe family movies will continue to somehow be above the recession.

I think love stories make hay now. After the first recession there was the baby boom remember! We did not have power for many years and that was the cause of population boom. In recession the man sits at home and knows not what else to do!!!
