First you will need to get an ISP (Internet Service Provider) like Aol, Bt, Tiscali, Sky etc. You pay them so much a month, i think its about £15-00 - £20-00, something stupid.Once you have done that, its best to get a ISP which gives you a Router for FREE, only certain ISP's do it, so look carefully. If you dont get a FREE Router, you will need to buy one, they cost something like £15-£130-00, you only need a cheap one for now. Plug it in, with certain Routers you need to install the router on your computer with the disk to get it working, once you have set it up on 1 computer, it should be open to all. Remember to enter a key/password to actually use the Network, otherwise anyone could use it, and u dont want that if you have limited Downloads etc. Go to your Ip Address for all the Administrator settings. Go to http://ipchicken.com/ u will see a few numbers like 128.99.54.1. Copy those in your browser and press enter, then it should come up with the Router settings etc.

From there u should know what to do.

You can email me if you need anymore help or info.

Get an Internet connection from an ISP (Internet Service Provider). After your Internet connection is installed, you can connect your network hub into the modem by using a network cable (Cat5 or RJ-45). Then you can connect one more cable to the NIC (Network Interface Card) of your computer; doing the same with other computers or printers that need to be in your network. If you have a wireless network, you can get a wireless hub; just make sure your hub has enough number of wireless ports available for every connection.

Hope it helps.

Get two computers and put two LAN cards in them, then connect them using a CAT5 cross-over cable or use two standard CAT5 cables and a network hub.
