    It looks like it is heading towards dystopia ,and since some of it's traits are human misery ,squalor,oppression ,and disease,it does not look like we have done much to alleviate it. As a civilization we have progressed a great deal technologically,and it's more of a utopia of convenience we have achieved.Our thinking has to change a great deal to have a complete utopia on earth,but it seems unlikely.

    I live in the United States and right now I can only discribe my country as a Utopia. However i'd be a fool to think that the rest of the world is remotely as good as we have it. Though I would have to say that most of the world especially in Africa is an utter dystopia.
