Why is it that "all men are pigs" but good men don't stand by their friends as they compromises their morals... meanwhile otherwise good women will stand by their friends in the most horrid behaviors to include cheating?

We love people in many ways, and this allows us to have lots of forgiveness. Just like if a stranger did such and such, we would right them off, kick them away, fade them from our lives. We often don't realize that we love our friends sometimes. Love becomes Acceptance in friendship

I wouldn't lie for a friend who is cheating. I would be sad for her, lowering herself this way. I would stay out of it. Except try to talk some sense into her.

Let us get ONE THING straight ; "ALL" men are not pigs . You can't take the bad ones and lump everyone into the same catgory ... That would be like saying All women are Ho's just because a couple of gals sleep with every man who ask them ... GOOD MEN do not stand by other men who compromise their morals because they ARE "Good men" and don't want to compromise their own morals .... AND; let me tell you ... thats because those terms and conditions where set by women....and speaking as a man, Im a great husband! not a "Pig" and I stand by my friends by guiding them in the right direction....if any comment I make toward a woman is disliked and considered "piggish"...its probably because that comment was brutaly true.

i think there are some men who stand by their friends no matter what and women who will stand by their friends as well. it really depends you know? all men aren't pigs. I love men. I've known many great men, more great than not.

I'm as loyal as they come and I'm a man. I will support my friends no matter what. That does not mean I will lie, cheat, or steal for them. If they do something wrong, they must take thier punishment. that does not mean I am not supportave of them. I believe a lot of guys are the same. As far as women are concerned, I am not sure they aren't similar as well.

I think you are over generalizing. I have a good friend in college who took a girl over to his room. She got naked before he knew what was going on. He explained he could not have sex until he was married. And that he wanted to get to know her. She really tried to seduce him that night... supposedly it did not work, but I was not in the room so I dont know. Also, I have seen females, who were supposedly best friends, sleep with their "best friends" husbands... Everyone is unique.

A pig's orgasm can last up to twenty minutes...there's no way men are pigs! Seriously, I think most men try to think and act in terms of black and white/right and wrong with no gray areas and I'll make the generalization that most men usually don't need or want moral support or approval to justify a behavior, whether good or bad. Nine times out of ten, they want to be respected for their stance on a decision or behavior, regardless of whether or not you agree with him.

Well obviously because all men are not pigs. I also imagine that like women they stand by their friends but also expect their friends to accept responsibility for their actions.
