  • As long as you attend to their basic needs, like keeping them in a cool dark place, they should remain healthy for a reasonably extended period of time, as long as you do not add mayo. When it comes to eating them, tater tots are basically starch and fat. Bread is starch. If you were to eat a regular diet of tater tot sandwiches, you'd be asking for trouble. Once in a while a TT sandwich is OK - providing it is a fairly small part of an otherwise balanced diet. but if you're a carb baby and basically live of bread and potatoes and pasta - you need to attend to your whole diet, not just the tater tot sandwich
