If you associate the stereotype with a certain ethnicity (which is the hallmark of a stereotype) and apply it only to that ethnicity, yes, I would consider it racist. That would be applying the judgment to a specific ethnicity. If you dislike the behaviour associated with the stereotype only, not connected with a specific ethnicity (disliking it in all ethnicities), no, I would not consider it racist. That would be applying the judgment to the behaviour, not a specific ethnicity.

I agree with Arisztid. There is a culture I'm not very fond of, however....I don't base this on all the people of this race. I see everyone as thier own person.

Good question. Fundamentally, exactly why is racism bad? I beleive it is the idea of negatively prejudging somebody's character without knowing who they really are. You can say I'll never hire any blonds because they are dumb. You can say I'll never hire any guys because they are dumb. You can say I'll never hire any Americans because they are dumb. All fit the same catagory of thinking yourself superior to someone without just grounds. I'll add that subject of racism is usually tied to blocking somebody's leagal rights because of their race. Somebody making fun of you because you are a 'blond' or a 'jock' is definitely not the same thing but it could be if you don't get a job because of it.
