I'm looking at one from my balcony window right now. It's tall and the breeze is making it gently sway and make little "gently swaying" shadows all over the moon lit ground.

There are a surprisingly large number in Texas.
As I was driving up my driveway. We have several in front of our house.
A couple of years ago when I was on the gold coast (Australia)
Twice a week at least. There's a large Phoenix Palm marking the driveway of one of the offices I work at.

If the true environmental cost of a rainforest tree (cost of replacement/biodiversity loss, etc) was added to the price of rainforest timber, how much more expensive would it be?
