  • distilled water and a soft cloth is recommended, although i usually use a warm (tap water) damp soft cloth.

  • Electronic Cleaning Wipes from walmarts. Each container has 80 wipes and they do a great job..Been using them for years. Can be used on all electronic products. Keyboards, Monitors, TV's, Printers etc..
  • I just got a new laptop recently and I bought a large sheet of clear acetate aswell. I cut it to size and using tape just stuck it over the screen. I haven't had to clean the screen at all. I just remove the sheet of acetate wipe it and stick it back on again.

  • Whatever you do use a cleaning product that has no alcohol in it...Most laptop screens have some sort of protective film over the screen because of the places a laptop might be deployed for use...Use the cleaning solutions that you will find at either a camera supply store and a eyeglass store, they have good cleaning products for such things...Oh and lightly, very lightly press on laptop monitor, they are delicate to say the least...
