No, France is becoming the next version of France. There are too many factors that would prevent France from ever achieving the role that the US has in the world. It is too small to have the diversity. The french language does not have the same functional appeal that English does. France is too small to have the same self sufficiency that the US is capable of if push came to shove. France is much too vulnerable comparatively. We have seen that it is physically possible for another nation to overrun France in a matter of weeks. Unless Canada or Mexico become badasses, the idea of invading the US is silly due to the natural barriers alone.

In what sense do you mean that France might becoming the next America. I just know that they have an immense number of arab immigrants and I know that they have huge ghettos around the big cities. And I know that their police is not allowed to do a lot. Just at the summit when Obama and all the other leading people were quite a step over the border in France, a great number of German police forces had to invade in France in order to stop the mob across the border to burn houses and hotels. A few kilometers away on the German side anything was absolutely peaceful and relaxed.

Well, since America has dropped the ball, someone's going to take over the role of leadership in the eyes of the world. Not France, though.
