  • Haven't seen them, but I've heard that there's only one cannery in the world selling them. Also that they can be substituted for asparagus in recipes because they have a similar taste and texture. If you pick them yourself, go for the young fresh leaves in the early spring.
  • What brand? I've seen mustard and collard greens in cans. Last year my aunt gave me some fresh dandelion greens she bought in the market. They were pretty good, but not everyone would find them appealing. They have kind of a bitter, nutty flavor. Of course, in a can they would probably have brine and other seasoning added that would change the taste.
